This incident caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
